About me

My Story: The Journey to Professionalism Through Dedication and Passion
My name is Anastasiia Onopriichuk, and I am a beauty industry expert with 12 years of experience, a Ukrainian Nail Art Champion, educator, mentor, and certified psychologist.
From an early age, I was drawn to the beauty industry. I always knew I would dedicate my life to it—I dreamed of becoming either a nail technician or a hairdresser. I was fascinated by how a specialist’s work could not only transform a person’s appearance but also give them confidence, a good mood, and a sense of care and self-worth.
My dream quickly started turning into reality. I realized early on that I wanted to pursue this profession, and I eagerly began learning its foundations.
The First Step into the Profession: Self-Learning and First Courses
As soon as I made the decision to take nail art seriously, I immediately started practicing. In my free time, I watched training videos, studied painting techniques, sculpting, and various nail art methods.
I have always been the kind of person who, once committed to something, strives for perfection. If something didn’t work out, I didn’t give up—I repeated it over and over until I achieved the perfect result.
Soon, I enrolled in my first professional courses, which only strengthened my confidence that I had chosen the right path. I found it incredibly interesting, but of course, not everything came easily at first.
I remember staying longer than anyone else after class, refining every detail. If something didn’t turn out right, I would practice at night, repeating the technique again and again until I got it right.
I can confidently say that I was not someone to whom everything came naturally. I was not a born talent—I am someone who achieved high results through perseverance and dedication.
Starting My Own Business: From a Small Studio to a Nail Academy
After my first training, I started working with clients and opened my first private studio.
At first, I was known only through friends and acquaintances, but over time, clients began coming to me through recommendations. I always paid attention to the quality of my work, customer service, and client comfort, and this became the key factor in the growth of my business.
As my client base grew, I realized I needed to expand. This led to my decision to open my own nail studio, where I not only worked but also trained other technicians, passing on my high standards of quality and professionalism.
For me, it was essential to create a space where clients would receive not just a manicure but a high level of service and aesthetics.
How Psychology Became a Part of My Profession
Working with people, I began to notice an interesting pattern—manicure, for many women, is not just a beauty treatment but a reflection of their inner state.
During appointments, clients often shared their stories, concerns, and emotions. I saw how their mood changed during the process, how the right nail color or well-groomed hands could boost their confidence and self-esteem.
I wanted to understand people on a deeper level—their psychology, their inner struggles. I realized that in the beauty industry, it’s not just about technique and service but also about emotional connection with the client.
This led me to study psychology.
As I immersed myself in this field, I looked for ways to integrate psychological methods into the work of nail technicians. I developed approaches that help professionals better interact with clients, avoid burnout, set healthy work boundaries, and create a more conscious and fulfilling service experience.
These insights allowed me to improve my own professional level and help other technicians reach new heights in their careers.
